We are growing — and we are looking for a driven, detail-oriented Hospitality Manager to help elevate our standards, grow revenue, and ensure seamless day-to-day operations across our properties.
The Role
We are seeking a young, energetic, and highly organised Hospitality Manager with their own reliable transport. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and understands both operational excellence and premium guest experience.
You will oversee daily operations, support event execution, manage guest relationships, and assist with CRM and booking systems across the Blix portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management
- Oversee daily operations of Blix Tavern and accommodation units
- Ensure consistent service standards and brand presentation
- Manage opening and closing procedures
- Monitor hygiene, health, and safety compliance
- Maintain stock control and oversee equipment care
- Ensure team punctuality, professionalism, and accountability
Team Leadership
- Supervise and assist housekeeping staff
- Assist with staff scheduling and shift coordination
- Maintain service standards and brand culture
- Lead by example during service periods
Guest Experience & CRM
- Deliver a premium, personalised guest experience
- Handle guest feedback and complaints efficiently
- Maintain and update CRM systems (member details, guest preferences, bookings)
- Build relationships with regular guests and members
Events & Activations
- Assist in planning and executing private events, launches, and curated experiences
- Coordinate with suppliers
- Oversee event-day operations
- Support RSVP tracking and guest list management
- Follow up with guests post-event to maintain relationships
Booking & Systems Management (Beneficial Experience)
Experience with the following platforms will be advantageous:
- RoomRaccoon (Property Management System)
- Booking.com Extranet
- Airbnb Host Dashboard
- Online reservation management systems
Candidates with strong hospitality backgrounds but without direct system experience are still encouraged to apply.
Requirements
- 1 - 2 years’ experience in hospitality, guesthouse, restaurant, or boutique hotel environments
- Previous management or supervisory experience beneficial
- Experience in event coordination or guest relations advantageous
- Own reliable transport (essential)
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Professional presentation and guest-facing confidence
- High attention to detail and strong administrative ability
Compensation & Incentives
This role offers a competitive market-related base salary with additional commission-based incentives.
Performance incentives may be linked to:
- Guesthouse occupancy growth
- CRM-driven repeat bookings
- Monthly revenue targets achieved
High performers will have strong earning potential beyond their base salary.
